Polled Herefords
Joana grew up with Polled Hereford Cattle so when Taylor and Thomas were old enough to show livestock we purchased their show heifers out of the North Star Classic Hereford Sale and have built our herd to 60 head of registered cows. We raise cattle that are somewhat moderate in their frame size and have the natural ability to be easy fleshing. We mate our cows to bulls that are easy calving and maintain good sound udders and feet.
We calve in February and March, cows are on native grass until the cold weather sets in and then on hay, protein tubs and year long mineral program. We have entered pens of heifer calves in past years at the NWSS in Denver, CO. We sell a few select females in the North Star Classic Hereford Sale the 1st Saturday of December in Valley City, ND. We offer our bulls and some females off the farm by private treaty.

Sold this CKP ABOUT TIME 0924 daughter in the 2015 North Star Classic Hereford Sale to Jaime Lundquist, Hampden, ND. She was class winner in late February class.
